Apple cider fermented with grape skins

This sparkling cider was made by fermenting spent red grape (Cabernet Franc and Merlot) skins from a friend’s Seneca Lake vineyard in juice pressed from our own organically grown Idared apples. After a secondary fermentation in the bottle, we hand disgorged. 100 cases bottled
Varieties:
- 50% Idared apples
- 50% Cabernet Franc and Merlot grape skins

- Primary fermentation in stainless steel
- secondary fermentation in-bottle, followed by disgorging
